No, hunters can use the Maroon Creek Road with proof (equipment, licenses, tags) that they are hunting or scouting. You do need a Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Overnight Permit if you are planning to camp overnight in the Wilderness permit zones while hunting. This permit must be acquired in advance at Recreation.gov
There is a $10 use fee to enter the Scenic Area.
