Reservation Release Dates:

Shuttle (Full Season)  : February 18th @ 8:00 AM
Parking (5/15 – 7/31) : February 18th @ 8:00 AM
Parking (8/1 – 10/31) : June 17th @ 8:00 AM

Overnight Permits for the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area are available on Recreation.gov, with the release dates:
April through July : February 15th @ 8:00 AM
August through November : June 15th @ 8:00 AM

Trailhead Parking Reservations

Trailhead Parking Reservations are ideal for those who need to start their adventure early before the shuttle bus begins at 7:00 AM, or those who wish to visit in the evening after 5:00 PM.

Very limited spaces available.

Shuttle Reservations

Shuttle Reservations are the most common and convenient way to visit Maroon Bells. The shuttle departs from the Marron Bells Welcome Center located at Aspen Highlands Ski Area.

Dates:   May 23rd – October 19th
   
Adult:   $16
Children:   $10 (12 & Younger)
Seniors:   $10 (65+)

To protect the resource and ensure a quality experience, reservations are required to access the Maroon Bells Scenic Area. The area is accessible via Maroon Creek Road from May 15th to early November.

Parking: Limited spaces are available at the Maroon Lake Trailhead and parking reservations are only available or those arriving before 8:00 AM and after 5:00 PM.

Shuttle: Most popular access. Departs from the Maroon Bells Welcome Center at Aspen Highlands Ski Area and takes about 15 minutes each way.

Amphitheater Reservations

Reservations for the Maroon Bells Amphitheater are made online through recreation.gov.

Conundrum Hot Springs

Maroon Bells Wilderness Access

Overnight permits are required in the most heavily used areas of the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness Area, and can be found at recreation.gov.

Maroon Bells Campgrounds

Campgrounds in the Maroon Bells Scenic Area are managed by the US Forest Service. Those with campground reservations do not need a reservation to park at the Maroon Lake Trailhead.
